Matt Moran is a Principal and Founder of FJM Investments. Mr. Moran has been involved in the real estate industry since 1986. Mr. Moran began his career in the finance arena. In 1992 he joined William Wilson & Associates. Matt was a partner and was in charge of acquisitions for four opportunity funds that William Wilson & Associates sponsored.
The forty-six properties acquired by these funds resulted in the $1.8 billion merger with Cornerstone Properties, where Matt became Chief Investment Officer. In June of 2000 Cornerstone Properties was acquired by Equity Office Properties. Mr. Moran is a graduate of Stanford University.
Michael Joseph is a Founder of FJM Investments. He has worked in the commercial real estate industry since 1982, and over the course of his career has held positions as a banker, mortgage broker, real estate investor and private money lender. Mr. Joseph currently oversees FJM’s ownership of 17 Planet Fitness franchises.
In 2012 he spearheaded the establishment of First Bridge Lending, the origination arm for a series of mortgage funds which invest in high yielding first trust deeds. Michael also manages the investment portfolios held by these funds with approximately $250MM of loans outstanding.
Mr. Joseph is a graduate of Lafayette College and earned an MBA from the Wharton School. He lives in San Francisco with his family.
Mark Pirie is a Principal of FJM Investments and has been with the company since its inception in 2002. Mr. Pirie has worked in the commercial real estate industry since 1994, where he has handled over $3 billion in real estate transactions.
He was previously with William Wilson & Associates, which merged into Cornerstone Properties, and subsequently Equity Office Properties, where he conducted the acquisition and disposition of commercial office properties in the western United States.
Prior to that role, he was a commercial real estate broker with CBRE in Calgary, Alberta. Mark lives in San Francisco with his wife and three kids. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Western University Canada.

Jennifer Navarro is the VP of Property Management and Leasing for FJM Investments. She has been with FJM since 2012 and began by overseeing the company’s Northern California Portfolio. As FJM’s portfolio expanded, her role soon evolved to include the Nevada, Arizona, and Utah markets. Jennifer is responsible for all aspects of property management and lease negotiations in each of these regions. Her background consists of property management, previously with VOIT Commercial Real Estate, and brokerage with Cornish & Carey Commercial.
Jennifer resides in the Sacramento area with her husband and son. In her personal time, she enjoys spending time with family, cooking, traveling, and playing baseball with her son.

William Fung is the V.P. of Finance for FJM Investments. Upon graduation, Mr. Fung joined the CPA firm Kenneth Leventhal (which merged with Ernst and Young) and later Novagradac & Co. Shortly thereafter, he joined William Wilson & Associates in an accounting and reporting role. During his career, he spent seven years in the corporate reporting group of Hewlett Packard in Palo Alto. He later worked for two local real estate companies before joining FJM Investments in 2013.
William lives in San Francisco with his wife and son. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree with an emphasis in Accounting and Finance from San Francisco State University.
Nate Joseph is an analyst for FJM Investments. Nate handles acquisition due diligence as well as doing some financial, leasing, and asset management work. He graduated from Claremont McKenna College in 2021 and played on the Men’s Soccer Team during his time on campus.
Nate lives in San Francisco, where he was born and raised.
Lori Meadows is the Property Manager for FJM Ocean Centre ULC. She has been with FJM Investments since they acquired this property in 2007. She had 8 years experience managing this property under previous ownership. Her role in the organization includes lease negotiations, construction management on Leasehold improvements, bookkeeping , as well she oversees the maintenance department.
Lori resides in the City of Prince Rupert located on the Northwest Coast of British Columbia, Canada.
